Bengaluru-based healthtech start-up NIRAMAI Health Analytix has raised about ₹43 crore ($6 million) in a Series A round led by Japanese VC firm Dream Incubator with participation from BEENEXT and other investors. Existing investors pi Ventures, Ankur Capital, Axilor Ventures and Binny Bansal also participated in this round. NIRAMAI will use the money to scale its operations in India, hire top talent and get additional regulatory approvals for international expansion. The company is using thermal imaging to detect breast cancer at an early stage. It had raised a seed round of over ₹7 crore ($1 million) in April 2017.
