Puneet Dhawan of Accor is brimming with ideas on ways to revive the hospitality sector
Bengaluru-based Aibono, an AI-powered fresh food aggregator platform, has raised about ₹17 crore ($2.5 million) in a pre-Series A round led by impact investor Menterra, Artha Initiatives, Milliways Ventures, Rebright Partners and 3One4 Capital.
The company will use the money to scale its Seed-to-Plate platform in fruits and vegetables. The platform blends artificial intelligence-powered precision farming with real-time demand sync and just-in-time harvesting.
Aibono’s platform helps small farmers leverage farm analytics, IoT and data science to increase output and yield. It plans to expand its reach to more tier-1 and tier-2 cities, rope in over 1,000 standalone retailers, strengthen logistics, increase the team size and bring on board more fruits and vegetables farmers.
