Home healthcare service provider Portea Medical has raised about ₹170 crore ($26 million) in a Series C round led by new investors Sabre Partners and MEMG CDC. Portea’s existing investors Accel, International Finance Corporation and Qualcomm Ventures participated in this round.
With this funding round, Portea, founded by serial entrepreneurs K Ganesh and Meena Ganesh, has raised $72.5 million. Portea will use the money to add depth to its services and consolidate its position in the industry. It works with more than 50 leading hospital partners, 15 pharmaceutical majors and leading insurance companies.
