What’s my favourite airport : Singapore Changi Airport.
What I like about it : It’s one airport that doesn’t feel like an airport at all. It feels like you have arrived at a mini eco-park. Equipped with a butterfly garden, waterfalls, lots of plants, natural light and lots of kid-friendly areas, it is probably the most scenic and eco-friendly airport. Apart from the lush greenery, one can’t help but admire the smart architecture features built in, like the lighting system which regulates the amount of natural light entering the area, conserving electricity. The airport is also very efficient in terms of signage and help available.
What could be improved : Could do with more sleeping pods may be.
Other airports I like : Mumbai Airport is pretty good in terms of the interiors and aesthetics. It gives the vibe of an art and culture museum rather than that of an airport. Could be more efficient from a passenger point of view, though.
Delhi T3 is also one of the more functionally efficient airports and the ease of getting in and out has vastly improved. However, they need to do something about the clogged baggage belts, which often lead to long wait times.
