L et’s face it, it’s 2018, hair dryers aren’t quite the luxury any more. But Dyson hairdryers have managed to excite the hairdrying populace a little bit. It is also quieter, faster and smoother than traditional dryers. Its compact size makes it easy as a travel accessory. It comes with a ‘smoothening’ nozzle for frizzy hair. What’s not to love?

In a hot-pink-and-chrome body, it stands out as sleek and professional, and because of its fast-powered motor, Dyson claims that it dries hair in half the time that it would usually take. It comes with four heat settings and three speeds. The V9 motor is barely audible, even though faster than most hair dryer motors. Dyson spent $67 million to develop the gadget over four years, and it has some 100 patents regarding the product. Dyson has developed an intelligent heat control system, which prevents the dryer from overheating and damaging the hair. Only if you have professional needs for your hair, or if your hair is your best accessory. At the price point that it is being offered, it is definitely a luxury for most people out there with their regular hairdryers, doing just fine.
