1 My day starts at 6.30, with a prayer that helps keep me positive and a glass of lime juice in warm water. Some ginger tea and music kick starts my day with energy. I hit the gym in the morning on weekends and evenings on weekdays. I do cardio exercises.

2 Being a vegetarian, breakfast is baked beans on toast, mutli-grain bread sandwich or poha on some days. Lunch is salad, paneer or vegetables with chapattis. I prefer sprouts for lunch. I avoid junk and refined wheat (maida). About four cups of green tea is my daily routine at work.

3 Weekdays are busy with work, and weekends are there to indulge in my hobbies, movies or travel. A holiday has its unwinding effect.

4 I enjoy music and dance. Especially dance helps me express myself creatively. I also enjoy singing, reading (non-fiction and short stories) and writing. I love to write children’s stories. My music choices are light, instrumental, country, soft rock, sufi etc

5 My day is completed with family chat time, watching the news and a stroll. Dinner is mostly light, I do indulge on weekends but keep it early to manage calories. I unwind with my favorite book and music with some nice aroma candles.
