I am out for at least 50 of 52 weeks in a year. So routine is impossible, and it’s down to discipline. I carry my gym clothes and shoes wherever I go. Since I travel, I ensure on reaching a destination that I walk or get some sunlight. It is the best antidote for jet lag.

I prefer to walk or climb steps. So even if it’s the 10th floor, I take the stairs. I avoid long periods of sitting down.

Tennis is both a relaxation and an exercise. But, for mental exercise, I prefer Bridge over crosswords or Sudoku. It works the brain, memory etc. And this will continue to the last day I live!

My day starts with lemon water and nuts. And my diet is usually healthy: egg whites, nuts, fruits etc. An “all fruit day” to wash out bodily toxins is a must. I have been doing this for seven years. I swear by green tea!

Walking through greenery is also relaxing. I carry a bottle of water but no mobile phone, it helps me disconnect. Going into the wilderness helps me recharge.
