Cricket is my best stress buster
It's hectic in the corporate world, so the start needs to be enthusiastic. Being a sportsperson helps me maintain a balanced routine of work and exercise. I sweat it out majorly during the weekends to make up for the lack of exercise during the weekdays.
I love South Indian food, so it is a challenge to balance the carbohydrate intake. My morning coffee is a must to get me started for the day.
De-stressing is important and cricket is my best stress buster. I have been an avid player and played at state (representing Karnataka in the Ranji Trophy) and at the national level – playing against Zimbabwe during 1983/84. Besides that, I enjoy travel shows and listening to music, old English and Hindi songs.
I unwind on family holidays, possibly twice a year. I love nature and go on treks or just spend time watching wild life. Even the time I get in the car every day is my ME time, just to reflect on the day.
I usually take a late night stroll with my wife on our terrace garden, it helps calm my mind before going to sleep. And when my daughters call to say goodnight, it makes me forget the stressful day!
