Yoga, zumba and crazy dancing with daughter
An early riser, my day starts with a 60-minute workout. I alternate between yoga, zumba and functional fitness training. I have been training to run marathons for a couple of years now and dedicate weekends to long-distance running.
A balanced diet and sufficient sleep are the key to my well-being. I eat in moderation and avoid skipping meals. Occasionally, I do reward myself to soul enriching food (my favourite being chole bhature!), but makeup for it with a vigorous work-out! I gift ‘fitness’ to myself.
Being a working mother, juggling a hectic schedule with family demands brings its own set of challenges. Work-outs don’t just keep my energies high, they also allow for precious ‘me-time’.
Since my work involves travelling, I spend quality time with my family during the weekends. My ultimate stressbuster is being with my daughter, soon to be four, or going out with my besties.
Home is where the heart is! I unwind by solving puzzles or dancing crazy with my daughter or having casual chats on the day gone by with my husband. But there are also days when I laze about being a couch potato watching The Big Bang Theory!
