The fidget spinner revolution (most obvious pun intended) took over the world earlier this year. The three, sometimes four-pronged spinning toy was seen everywhere at one point, with its videos ruling social media. As the craze grew, so did the variations and they started coming in so many more shapes and sizes. You would think they had reached saturation until...

Hong Kong-based Chilli mobiles literally put a phone in a fidget spinner, or a fidget spinner in a phone, based on what you primarily use it for. In my case, the review unit I got became a toy and I was almost always taken by surprise when the little pink-gold thing lit up and rang with a loud, jarring ringtone when a call came through. The tiny phone is a two-pronged fidget spinner with a bearing in the middle that lets it spin. The bearing divides a miniscule screen from a keypad. It’s a feature phone capable of making calls, sending and receiving messages, and accessing websites through a browser.

There are some more added applications like world clock, calendar, alarms, calculator that make it quite a tiny bundle of basic utility. You can even listen to music on the surprisingly loud speaker and access images and video on it.

It has a micro SIM slot that can be used to make it a standalone phone and it can also be paired with your smartphone or other devices via Bluetooth. It is backed by a 280 mAh battery that is connected to the phone by a cord with contacts. The battery lasts less than a day, but it charges to full in less than two hours.

At its price, it is quite fancy a toy with basic phone capabilities. Go for one if you like adding novel fidget spinners to your collection.
