IL&FS Engg bags Rs 1,436-cr contract

IL&FS Engineering Services Limited has secured a letter of intent for EPC contract for a National Highway expressway project with a total order value of Rs 1,436 crore. The Hyderabad-based infrastructure and construction company has bagged the deal from Kiratpur Ner Chowk Expressway Limited, a special purpose vehicle incorporated by ITNL for execution of the expressway. The project entails engineering, procurement and construction contract and involves four-laning of the Kiratpur Ner Chowk section of National Highway 21 in Punjab and Himachal Pradesh. The project is to be completed within 1005 days from the date of commencement.
