Keltron wins Rs 6-cr NPOL order

The Kerala State Electronics Development Corporation (Keltron) has won an order worth Rs 6 crore from the National Physical and Oceanographic Laboratory (NPOL). This is for the manufacture and supply of sonar simulators used for training submarine operators of the Indian Navy, an official spokesman said here. Keltron competed with companies such as Bharat Electronics Limited before coming up trumps in the bidding, the spokesman added. The electronic simulators would be manufactured at the Aroor unit of Keltron, he said.
