Lenovo has launched its Yoga series of tablets, aimed at taking on Samsung and other rivals.

The tablet weighs the same as other tablets, comes with 18 hours of battery life and is priced at Rs 23,000-29,000, according to Lenovo officials.

“We have engineered this tablet keeping in mind the kind of experience that consumers seek, which also helps in redefining this category,” said Amar Babu, MD of Lenovo India.

Further, the tablet comes with wi-fi, 3G voice calling and is equipped with Dolby sound. It also comes with HD-like display, a 5 MP auto focus rear camera, and storage options up to 64 GB.

The tablet runs on MTK’s 1.2 Ghz processor and Android’s Jelly Bean operating system.

The tablet’s cylindrical shape at the bottom offers a better grip, especially when held in one hand for extended periods of calling or reading.
