J. P. Chalasani, Chief Executive Officer, Reliance Power, has decided to leave the company.
A Reliance Power communication to the exchanges said Chalasani would be leaving the company towards the end of the year to pursue his entrepreneurial ambitions and re-locate overseas.
RPower officials said he was earlier with Reliance Energy. After the erstwhile Reliance group split, he went on to head the Anil Ambani-led Reliance Power.
Prior to joining Reliance, he was with NTPC. Chalasani has spent over three decades in the power sector.
