Reliance Broadcast net loss widens in Q2

Reliance Broadcast Network Ltd's consolidated net loss for the September quarter widened to Rs 24.4 crore on higher expenses related to television channels. The company had reported a loss of Rs 14.3 crore in the September quarter last year. Consolidated revenues increased by 30 per cent to Rs 74.8 crore against Rs 57.6 crore during the corresponding quarter last year.

The company's radio broadcasting revenues, however, grew by 48 per cent to Rs 57.1 crore, and it reported a net profit of Rs 12 crore against a loss of Rs 3.2 crore in the corresponding quarter last year.
