Voltas has won a bid to provide energy-efficient variable refrigerant flow (VRF) systems for air-conditioning to South India’s tallest residential tower, Mantri Pinnacle in Bangalore. The company said that energy-efficient VRF will be a major factor contributing to the 133-apartment complex’s goal of greening the building and getting a Gold Standard certification. Voltas said it would be providing air-conditioning for an area of 4,13,850 sq ft, making this the single largest residential VRF installation in South India till date.
