Audi has launched an integrated finance, service, insurance and extended warranty package in India for customers of the A4, A6 sedans and the Q5 SUV.
Called ‘Audi CarLife- Advance’, this initiative hopes to provide the benefits of a leasing service, while still letting the customer have ownership of the vehicle. The services are available bundled under a single monthly payment.
“The market research shows that the Indian market is still premature for leasing and therefore, Audi CarLife - Advance is an innovative solution that can meet all the benefits of leasing along with having the privilege of ownership,” said Mr Michael Perschke, Head, Audi India.
The Volkswagen Group company sold 2,831 cars between January to April 2012, marking a growth of 43 per cent over the same period last year.
In February, rival BMW India launched its own car leasing services for individual and corporate buyers. Mercedes-Benz India had launched a similar service in October last year.
