Net sales/income of Bajaj Electricals Ltd in 2010-11 fiscal was higher by about 23 per cent at Rs 2,741 crore from Rs 2,229 crore in the previous fiscal.
The profit before tax improved 9.1 per cent to Rs 218.9 crore against Rs 200.6 crore in 2009-10, the Chairman and Managing Director, Mr Shekhar Bajaj, said here today.
He said that during the first half of 2011-12, net sales/income from the company’s operations was 16.2 per cent higher at Rs 1,245.2 crore against Rs 1,071.9 crore during the first half of the previous year.
Bajaj Electricals Ltd is a part of the Bajaj Group.
With a turnover of Rs 35,000 crore and market capitalisation of Rs 68,000 crore, the group comprises 27 companies.
