Exide profit up 25%

Exide Industries Ltd has reported over 25 per cent increase in net profit to ₹97.23 crore for the period ended December 31, 2014, up from the ₹77.52-crore in the corresponding quarter last year. Net sales during the period stood at ₹1,557.90 crore, up by nearly 20 per cent, against ₹1301.41 crore. EPS (in third quarter of this fiscal) increased to ₹1.14 against ₹0.91 in same period last fiscal.
