India’s largest independent met coke producer Gujarat NRE Coke Ltd on Friday reported a 23 per cent rise in income and over 100 per cent in net profit in the second quarter of 2012-13 ended September 30, as compared to the corresponding period in the last fiscal.
While the company’s income was Rs 331.83 crore (Rs 270.04 crore), profit after tax stood at Rs 16.72 crore (Rs 8.04 crore), Arun Kumar Jagatramka, Chairman and Managing Director, said in a release here.
