HBL Power Systems Ltd has posted a net profit of Rs 6.71 for the first quarter ended June 30, 2015 against a loss of Rs 17.34 crore in the corresponding period last year.
The Hyderabad-based batteries maker has posted net sales income of Rs 304.21 crore during the first quarter against Rs 285.57 crore for the same quarter last fiscal.
Last fiscal ended March 31, 2015, the company had posted a net profit of Rs 14.62 crore and income of Rs 1,330 crore.
The company shares ended at Rs 51.30, up 6.21 per cent on the BSE.
