Heritage Foods Q3 net up 20% on demand growth

Dairy company Heritage Foods Limited registered a profit of ₹20.1 crore for the third quarter ended December 31, 2018, up 20 per cent from the ₹16.76 crore recorded in the corresponding quarter last year, on a consolidated basis.

The company’s revenues from operations were up 6.9 per cent at ₹618.76 crore during the quarter (₹578.93 crore).

Its EBIDTA was ₹46.44 crore (₹37.96 crore), a growth of 22.3 per cent.

For the nine months ended December 2018, the company posted consolidated revenues of ₹1,879.73 crore (₹1,811.79 crore), registering a growth of 3.7 per cent. It posted a profit of ₹62.43 crore (₹42.88 crore), up 45.6 per cent.

Brahmani Nara, Executive Director, said, “The significant improvement in our operating margins for the nine months of FY19 we are experiencing is due to better demand for our products across all our selling regions and markets. We are optimistic about the demand and pricing for our dairy products in the coming period.”

“We are continuously striving to increase our market share in key product segments to achieve good growth in revenues,” she said.
