Hero MotoCorp has reported highest-ever monthly sales of 5,49,625 units in September, registering a growth of 26.75 per cent.
The company had sold 4,33,641 units in the same month last year, Hero MotoCorp said in a statement today.
For the July-September period, the company’s sales increased 20.09 per cent to 15,44,315 units from 12,85,944 units in the year-ago period, the statement said.
“We continue to progress on our growth trajectory this year and September sales have added a new milestone to our journey. Sales have been regularly in excess of half-a-million two-wheelers per month since the formation of our new company, setting the pace for our continued leadership,” Hero MotoCorp Senior Vice-President (Marketing and Sales), Mr Anil Dua, said.
The company expects this momentum to continue in the festive season and its plans are in place to meet the market demand, he added.
