Hero MotoCorp Ltd (HMCL) on Monday said the company sold over one lakh units of two-wheelers on the Dhanteras festival on Sunday.
It sold over 40,000 units of Splendor alone and rest of the numbers came from Passion, Maestro and Pleasure (scooters), Ignitor, Hunk and Xtreme.
“We expect this trend to persist, and are looking at posting record retail sales this festive season,” Anil Dua, Senior Vice-President (Marketing and Sales), Hero MotoCorp, said in a company release.
Splendor had clocked over 1.8 lakh units in October. Between April and October, the company has sold 14 lakhs units, the company said.
