With an aim to expand its India portfolio, Hilton Worldwide on Tuesday announced the signing of a management agreement with Hirise Hospitality Pvt Ltd for DoubleTree by Hilton Ahmedabad.
The 174-room hotel will feature three dining outlets, an outdoor swimming pool, 24-hour fitness centre and a full service spa, a statement from the company said.
Conference and event facilities at the hotel will include a 9,000-sq ft space ideal for mid-sized business events and social gatherings, and a 24-hour business centre.
Earlier this year, Hilton Worldwide had launched three new hotels — DoubleTree Suites by Hilton Bangalore, Hilton Bangalore Embassy GolfLinks and Hilton Jaipur. It is also set to launch DoubleTree by Hilton Agra, the statement added.
In India, the hospitality company currently operates under its two full-service, upscale brands — Hilton Hotels & Resorts and DoubleTree by Hilton and its two mid-market brands — Hilton Garden Inn and Hampton by Hilton.
