IL&FS Engg bags Rs 327-cr contract from Bangalore Metro

IL&FS Engineering and Construction Company Ltd has bagged a Rs 326.99-crore rail contract from Bangalore Metro Rail Corporation Ltd.

The contract involves construction of elevated structures (viaduct) of about 3.9 km length from Mysore road station to Pattanagere station, including four elevated metro stations in the west extension of the East-West Corridor of Bangalore metro rail project, phase-2.

The project is to be completed in 27 months from the date of issue of letter of acceptance, according to a statement filed with the BSE.

The Hyderabad-based engineering and infrastructure company is executing two more contracts for metro rail projects. These include a Rs 255.84-crore project for RMRG (Phase-II), involving construction of a double-deck elevated viaduct, and the other a Rs 84-crore contract for Gurgaon (south extension) involving construction of elevated stations.
