IL&FS Engineering bags Rs 162.6-cr order from GAIL

IL&FS Engineering and Construction Company Ltd has received a contract from Gas Authority of India Ltd (GAIL) for laying and construction of pipeline along with associated facilities in Bihar.

The project is in the Section II Pipeline from Chainage 159.70 km to receiving terminal cum future IP Station-4 at Dobhi for Phulpur-Haldia Pipeline Project (Phase 1B) in Bihar.

The Rs 162.58-crore project covers a length of 185.38 km for a 30-inch pipeline. It is to be completed in 15 months from the date of award and with additional three months for drying and commissioning.

IL&FS Engineering has recently won a Rs 173.13-crore pipeline laying contract from GAIL for Section–1 of Kochi-Koottanad-Bangalore-Mangalore Pipeline Project Phase-II in Kerala.

The company is executing an EPC contract for GAIL for laying and construction of pipeline along with associated works for pipeline replacement project in Gujarat region.

It is also currently executing an EPC contract for Indian Strategic Petroleum Reserves Ltd, Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Gas, for laying of pipeline from Land Fall Point, Mangalore Port to Mangalore/Padur Cavern via Intermediate Valve Station for storage of crude oil.
