Mostly clear weather is being forecast for Delhi, venue for tonight’s IPL cricket game.

Hosts Delhi Daredevils will take on Kings XI Punjab in the match scheduled to begin at 8 p.m. at the Feroz Shah Kotla.

Delhi is currently enjoying the ‘break’ between a weather-generating western disturbance and a follow-up disturbance forecast to drift in a couple of days.

The national capital witnessed haze and partly cloudy skies in the morning, with India Meteorological Department expecting mercury to touch up to 40 deg Celsius.

The hint of moisture is expected to disappear as the day wears on, and the humidity might drop to a minimum of 20 per cent from the highs of 60 per cent.

Stiff northwesterly winds would continue to prevail, and might clock up to 15 km/hr. This could make for tolerable conditions for the night game.
