Jaguar Land Rover expands dealer network

Jaguar Land Rover continues to expand its dealer network in India by opening a new dealership in Kochi, Kerala. Based on the NH-47 By Pass, the dealership, operated by Muthoot Motors, will improve access to customers from the Kerala region and provide premium standards of sales, servicing and after sales. The dealership will provide customers access to the full range of Jaguar products including the XJ (in both diesel and petrol engine variants), XF (in both diesel and petrol engine variants), XFR and the XKR Coupe and Convertible. For Land Rover, it will offer the Freelander 2, Discovery 4, Range Rover Sport, Range Rover and soon to be launched, the new Range Rover Evoque. Mr R. Ramakrishnan, Vice-President, Passenger Car Business Unit, Tata Motors, said: “The Jaguar Land Rover dealership expansion programme in India is progressing well and I am pleased to announce the extension of our reach through the opening of this great facility in Kochi, Kerala.” According to Mr Rohit Suri, Head of Premier Car Division, Jaguar Land Rover opened its first Indian showroom in June 2009 and now has fully operational sales and service facilities in Mumbai, Delhi, Jaipur, Hyderabad, Kolkata, Ludhiana and Kochi. The expansion plan includes dealerships in the cities of Bangalore, Chennai, Ahmedabad, Pune and Indore by the end of this fiscal year.
