Kansai Nerolac Paints Ltd today reported 9.07 per cent increase in net profit at Rs 51.7 crore for the second quarter ended September 30, 2013.
The company had reported a net profit of Rs 47.4 crore in the same period last year.
Kansai Nerolac’s net sales during the quarter under review stood at Rs 781 crore, an increase of 14.95 per cent as compared to Rs 679.4 crore in the corresponding period of the previous year, the company said in a statement.
Overall expenses during the quarter stood at Rs 716.1 crore, up 15.59 per cent as against Rs 619.5 crore in the same quarter last year.
The company’s shares were trading at Rs 1200.90 per scrip on the BSE, up 4.27 per cent from the previous close.
