Karnataka Bank opens 25 ATMs, takes tally to 650

Karnataka Bank dedicated 25 ATMs to the nation on Wednesday, taking the tally of ATMs to 650.

A press release by the bank said an addiitional 146 ATMs have been installed since the beginning of the fiscal. There were 504 ATMs previously. The bank plans to take the tally to 700 ATMs by end-March 2014.

While dedicating its 650th ATM, the Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of the bank, P Jayarama Bhat, said the bank has plans to take the tally of ATMs to 1,000 during the next financial year.

He said the bank has taken utmost care to provide the required security measures such as 24x7 caretaker service, alarm system and CCTV cameras. The bank has complied with all the stipulated security measures, he added.
