Kirloskar Brothers Ltd (KBL) has opened its third authorised refurbishment centre (ARC) in India at Adityapur Industrial Area, Jamshedpur.
The new centre is equipped with modern facilities to service, repair and improve efficiency for all small, medium and large pumps manufactured by Kirloskar Brothers Ltd. It will offer services such as overhaul of pumps, hydro-testing, corro-coating, performance enhancement, testing, shot blasting and painting and will also cater to customers having annual maintenance contracts (AMC).
KBL has six manufacturing plants in India and overseas and has now embarked on an initiative to set up ARCs to provide its customers conveniences such as saving on transportation costs, reduction in downtime and saving energy by upgrading the pumps.
Sanjay Kirloskar, Chairman & Managing Director, KBL said, “The refurbishment centre in Jamshedpur will address customers’ service needs in and around Jamshedpur. We are planning to set up similar refurbishment centres at different locations in India.”
