Mulliner workshop offers ‘endless customisation’

Bentley, the iconic British super luxury carmaker, is upbeat on the market potential in India. It has opened its third showroom and service centre to serve the South, while hinting more may follow.

The company is looking to offer its full range of cars in India. With more than 4,000 people working at its manufacturing base at Crewe in England, it is known for its customised and bespoke offerings. The car prices range from ₹3 crore to ₹6 crore.

Neil Wilford, Regional Manager, MEIA, Bentley, said: “We are dedicated to delivering the ultimate luxury experience and building long-term relationships with our customers in India. In association with Exclusive Motors, we can deliver a truly special and memorable experience.”

“Regardless of the choice of models — Mulsanne, Flying Spur, Bentayga or Continental — our Mulliner workshop offers endless customisation options, allowing one to design and create a truly bespoke and individual car, a one of a kind,” he explained.

Speaking on the sidelines of the launch of a Bentley showroom here, Wilford told BusinessLine : “With Mulliner, the only limit is your imagination. Our team of talented craftsmen, stylists and engineers can make your dreams a reality.”

Engineers at the Bentley take pride in what they do for automotive lovers of this kind word over right from design to handmade elements that go into these cars, he said.

Andrew Fleming, Deputy British High Commissioner in India, said: “Bentley represents the very best of British engineering... I think it is fitting that the beautifully crafted vehicles have been the preferred conveyance for her majesty, the Queen, for the past 62 years.”

“India invests more in the UK than it does in the rest of the European Union combined. Similarly, the UK invests more in India than any other G7 country, and more than the combined investment of the US and Japan,” he added.
