The Chairperson of farm equipment and tractors manufacturer, Tractors and Farm Equipment Ltd (TAFE) Mallika Srinivasan was conferred the “Business Thought Leader of the Year” award 2012 by NDTV Profit TV.
Planning Commission Chairman Montek Singh Ahluwalia and NDTV Co—Chairperson Prannoy Roy presented the award at a function held in New Delhi recently, TAFE said in a release.
Headquartered in Chennai, TAFE has four tractor plants in the country and an overseas plant in Turkey producing a variety of tractors in sub 100HP range.
