German luxury auto maker Mercedes Benz today launched the diesel version of its premium multi- purpose vehicle R350 priced at Rs 58.9 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi).
The new multi purpose vehicle, R350 CDI is powered by a 2,987cc diesel engine.
Commenting on the introduction of the vehicle, Mercedes- Benz India Director—Sales & Marketing Debashis Mitra, said: “We are sure that the diesel variant of this crossover model will be an attractive proposition for our valuable customers“.
The vehicle has a four wheel drive transmission with a mileage of 11.25 km per litre, he claimed.
The four-door vehicle has a seating capacity of seven adults, while the luggage compartment is capable of accommodating between 633 and 2,385 litres, it added.
Mercedes-Benz India had launched the petrol version of the R350 in 2010 and is currently priced at Rs 58.7 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi).
