Mangalore Refinery and Petrochemicals Ltd (MRPL) has won the ‘Best Exporter’ award for 2013-14 of the Federation of Karnataka Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FKCCI) in the medium/large industries category.
A press release by the company said here on Friday that the company got this award in recognition of its ₹35,392 crore worth of exports during the period. MRPL has been winning this award since 2009-10, it said.
Vijay G Joshi, Director (Refinery) of MRPL, received the award from the Karnataka Chief Minister, Siddaramaiah, in Bengaluru recently, it added.
