Navaratna PSU National Aluminium Company Ltd (Nalco) has added another product to its portfolio with the launch of aluminium chequered sheet.
The company’s smelter at Angul has started production of chequered sheet with thickness ranging from 0.60 mm to 3.0 mm, company sources said on Sunday.
The new product has a high demand in the automobile industry, vehicle manufacturing and for industrial flooring.
The first consignment of domestic sale of the product was flagged off by Mr Ansuman Das, Director (Commercial), they said.
