Punj Lloyd Group has been awarded an EPC nuclear power contract by Nuclear Power Corporation of India Ltd (NPCIL) worth Rs 678 crore for critical nuclear piping work at four Pressurised Heavy Water Reactors (PHWR) of 700 MWe (Mega Watt electric) each.
While two reactors are located at Kakrapara Atomic Power Project near Surat, the other two are at Rajasthan Atomic Power Project near Kota in Rajasthan. The contract is scheduled to be completed in four years.
