Samsung interactive TV debuts in India

Consumer electronics major, Samsung, today launched a new interactive LEDs ES80000 and ES7500 and plasma E8000 series in the Indian market.

According to the company, the products provide more natural and intuitive option for controlling and interacting with the TV sets.

Some of the new features are voice control, motion control and face recognition. The product price ranges from Rs 37,000 to Rs 2 lakh.

Users can turn the TV on or off, activate selected apps or search for and select content in the web browser — all without touching the remote.

The Samsung 2012 Smart television series feature a built-in camera that recognises movement in the foreground, as well as microphones that recognise voice.
