TVS Motor Company today reported 20.3 per cent increase in its total sales at 1,91,880 units in December 2014.
The Chennai-based company had sold 1,59,495 units in the same month of the previous year, TVS Motor Company said in a statement.
Total two-wheeler sales also increased 18.67 per cent to 1,81,994 units last month against 1,53,358 units in the same month in 2013.
Domestic two-wheeler sales stood at 1,57,438 units last month, up 18.67 per cent, against 132,664 units in the corresponding period a year ago, it added.
Sales of scooters during the month were up 25.33 per cent at 52,411 units (41,817 units).
Motorcycle sales were also up 21.9 per cent at 70,188 units (57,576 units).
