Zovi.com, an online fashion shopping portal, has been termed principal sponsor of the Zovi Gen Next programme for Lakme Fashion Week Summer/Resort (SR) 2013.
In a first-of-its-kind venture and as part of their initiative to encourage and provide a strong platform for upcoming designers, Zovi will manufacture and retail one exclusive garment designed by the Gen Next designers for SR 2013.
Lakme Fashion Week is one of the most widely celebrated fashion events in the country and allows designers to showcase their work.
In order to encourage young talent, each season the Gen Next participants, most of whom display their collections for the first time, are to enjoy the exclusive privilege of opening for Lakme Fashion Week.
