Essar Group on Tuesday withdrew its petition from the Delhi High Court stating it has already moved the Supreme Court claiming only a Magistrate – and not the Special Judge hearing the 2G case – can take up the case against it on a chargesheet filed by the CBI in the matter.
The High Court then allowed the plea to be withdrawn as it was similar to the one which is before the apex court. The apex court will hear the matter on February 17.
