In order to commemorate the 150th birth anniversary of Rabindranath Tagore, the Central University of Jharkhand has organised three –day-long celebrations at its Brambe Campus on Ranchi Lohardanga Road in Ranchi, Jharkhand.
The celebrations which began on November 12 include academic sessions, music and dance performances, exhibition and food festival.
The event will come to an end on November 14. The exhibition will depict the life and works of Tagore and the customs, culture and tourist attractions of Jharkhand. Cuisines from Bengal and Jharkhand will be served at the food festival.
