Jindal Power, Adani, Hindalco, Sesa Sterlite have bid aggressively for coal blocks in at the technical bid stage.
Technical bids were opened today for 23 blocks and total of 170-180 bids were received, a senior Coal Ministry official said. The initial price offer which bidders had to submit along with the technical bid, will be revealed on February 12 after the qualifiers have been shortlisted.
