CWC sales target fixed at Rs 1,420 cr

Central Warehousing Corporation (CWC), a Schedule A Mini Ratna Category I PSU, has set for itself a gross sales target of Rs 1,420 crore for 2013-14. This follows the signing of a memorandum of understanding between CWC and the Department of Food & Public Distribution, Ministry of Consumer Affairs, Food & Public Distribution. The MoU was recently signed by B.B. Pattnaik, CMD of CWC, and Sudhir Kumar, Secretary, Department of Food & Public Distribution. CWC is estimated to post a gross sale of Rs 1,300 in 2012-13.
