Protesting against the government's “indifferent and callous” attitude towards the problems of apple growers in the State, the Himachal Pradesh Apple Growers Association (HPAGA) will hold demonstrations across the State on June 6.
“The demonstrations would be held at 20 places and the growers would sit on dharna in front of offices of Block development Officers (BDOs) and will also handover a memorandum addressed to the Chief Minister,” Mr Rakesh Singha and Dr Onkar Shad, convenor and co-convenor of HPAGA said.
