Refineries hike prices of imported oils bl-premium-article-image

Edible oils market continued their bullish trend on higher physical demand and firm futures. Local refineries raised rates for palmolein and soya oil by ₹5-6 per 10 kg. Vikram Global Commodities quoted Malaysian super palmolein at ₹535. Liberty’s rates: palmolein ₹500, super palmolein ₹530 and soyabean refined oil ₹612. Ruchi traded palmolein for ₹501, soyabean refined oil ₹605 and sunflower refined oil ₹765. Allana’s rates: palmolein ₹500, super palmolein ₹535, soya refined oil ₹610 and sunflower oil ₹765.

In Saurashtra-Rajkot, groundnut oil telia tin declined by ₹50 to ₹1,420 and loose (10 kg) by ₹40 to ₹900.

BCE spot rates (₹/10 kg): groundnut oil 950 (960), soya ref. 605 (606), sunflower exp. ref. 680 (680), sunflower ref. 765 (765), rapeseed ref. oil 980 (930), rapeseed exp. ref. 950 (900), cottonseed ref. oil 635 (631) and palmolein 493 (491).
