The Consumer Price Index for industrial workers (CPI-IW) for November 2012 came in at 9.55 per cent. This was higher than the 9.34 per cent annual increase seen in November 2011.
The CPI-IW inflation for November 2012 was, however, lower than the 9.60 per cent recorded in October this year, official data released on Monday showed.
Food inflation in November 2012 came in at 10.85 per cent, higher than 7.61 per cent in same month in the previous year. It had touched 9.01 per cent in October 2012.
