The last date for submission of written queries on the Preliminary Information Memorandum (PIM) and Share Purchase Agreement (SPA) for those interested in bidding for the entire government stake in Air India and Air India Express and 50 per cent stake in Air India SATS Airports Services Private Ltd has been extended till March 6. Earlier, the interested parties were to submit their written queries by February 21.
People close to the development told BusinessLine that “no decision has been yet been on any time line” when asked whether the March 31 deadline for intimating Qualified Interested Bidders (QIB) will also get extended till mid-April.
If that were to be the case then the government will miss the deadline of identifying potential bidders before the close of the current financial year.
