Airport charges for Delhi airport will be hiked by 345 per cent.

The new rates will be with effect from May 15. Increase in the charges may force the airlines to raise the fair.

Now the passengers arriving at Delhi airport will also have to pay user development fee. The Airports Economic Regulatory Authority has approved a proposal in this regard.

The aviation regulator says that the process for increasing charges for Mumbai airport will now begin. It will take three months to complete the consultation process.
